VOLUNTEER AT BCM
Make a difference to East-of-Bayshore youth!

about God

Volunteers are truly the “backbone” of Bayshore Christian Ministries and central to the support BCM provides for youth from East Palo Alto and Belle Haven.

Year-round, BCM relies on volunteers to spiritually guide and provide academic support for students, as well as help in many other ways, including taking pictures, serving as Board members, and assisting with BCM’s annual fundraising banquet in the fall.

Oftentimes, volunteers themselves experience personal growth, in return. One volunteer, Jane, said “I didn't expect that I would also learn things about myself,” when talking about working with students.

There’s a volunteer arrangement that’s a fit for you:

* once or on a regular basis
* in the afternoon or the evening
* in the school year or the summer
* on your own or with friends, family, or your small group
