Spiritual Programs Manager for Teens

About the Position: 

The BCM Executive Staff is seeking an experienced individual to manage and grow the spiritual programs at BCM.

 

The Spiritual Program Manager will be the leader of the teen spiritual programs and the main representative of these programs in the greater East Palo Alto community. They will be responsible for working with the Director of Programs, the Assistant Director of Programs, other program staff, and qualified BCM volunteers to develop a clear plan to increase the impact of this program, engage with students and families, maintain connections with local churches, spiritual programs and school clubs, and disciple jr. high and high school students as they teach Biblically accurate, wholistic, and age specific, applicable lessons.  

The qualified candidate will be an experienced Christian leader with a high level of integrity that has worked and/or managed in a similar non-profit or ministry. They will have training or schooling in Biblical studies and proper understanding of how to develop contextual Bible-based lessons for students. This candidate will focus specifically on program development and student engagement as it pertains to the growth and sustainability of the students in their programs. They would have experience working with volunteers, have led trainings, been involved in conflict resolution, engaged in fundraising opportunities, and have an extensive knowledge of youth development, sharing the Gospel of Christ in a relevant and effective way within marginalized communities and with unchurched populations.
