Gene Lopez

Teen Spiritual Program Manager

Gene was born and raised in the Central Valley of California. His parents were born in Mexico and his family also includes two brothers, two sisters, four nephews and two nieces. As well as attending Fresno State University and Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary, Gene’s background includes coaching, teaching, mentoring, counseling and volunteer work with various churches and ministries. While attending seminary, Gene helped launch a youth ministry, operating out of Youth For Christ’s Fresno Chapter. Through Christ, the ministry was able to teach inner city youth lessons of faith, scripture, fitness and social justice. Post seminary, Gene relocated to the Bay Area where he has since served as a teacher and counselor for a private school and a non-profit organization providing initial help to young people experiencing life struggles such as depression, anxiety, psychosis, substance abuse, homelessness and incarceration.

Gene enjoys spending time in nature, traveling, physical activity, reading scripture, connecting in fellowship, and empowering the younger generation in a Christ centered approach for the glory and honor of His kingdom.
